A Summary

Skype Learn Chinese  A New Way to Mandarin Chinese Lesson 27 Part I

From Skype Learn Chinese, you will know the Giant Panda is a bear, but it has cat's eyes and so its name, in China, is 熊猫 xióngmāo, bearcat. It is a carnivore but prefers to eat bamboo and is very peaceful. It lives about 20 years in the wild and has only one child in two years. It stays with mom until a new one is born. After Skype Learn Chinese, we know that the Panda's colors, white and black are said to be yin and yang, and its peaceful nature, the harmony of living between them. Since we're here on a trip with students of Skype Learn Chinese, why don't we just pop over to Chang'an of two thousand years ago (now Xi'an).

The sixteen year old who became the fifth emperor of Western Han, Liu Che, is known as Wu, 'Martial' for his many successful battles.
